In the Name of God,
With deepest respect to the oppressed nation of Iran,
I hereby honor the courageous movement and uprising of the suffering and oppressed people of Iran. While declaring my solidarity and empathy with this righteous movement, I express my most sincere condolences and sympathy in observance of the fortieth day of mourning for the martyrdom and loss of many of our dear compatriots to the families of those who lost their lives in the uprising of the heroic nation of Iran. I pray to Almighty God to grantmercy upon the souls of the victims of this movement against oppression, and I wish patience, fortitude, and endurance for the dear and esteemed families and survivors of these noble human beings.
It must be noted: these heroes of the homeland took to the streets in pursuit of their violated rights, seeking to reclaim their freedom and their right to exercise political and social liberties. Regrettably, however, this liberation movement was hijacked by opportunistic agents and met with suppression by the Islamic Republic through propaganda labeling this great movement as an affiliate with Israel and others; consequently, these noble individuals were gunned down as “Israeli agents.” This occurred while everyone is well aware that these people were solely seeking to reclaim their political and civil rights and to struggle against oppression, so that by benefiting from their national wealth, they might save the nation from poverty and deprivation. Had their rights been respected in this regard, they certainly would never have taken to the streets to pursue their demands against the system. This is the exact same way the Islamic Republic itself came to power, by raising such demands against the former Pahlavi monarchy during the collective revolution of the Iranian nation in 1979. Yet, unfortunately, by covertly transforming the “Republic” into a lifelong Islamic regime and trampling upon the rightful demands of the people, it has once again—just as in the past—plundered the public treasury and national wealth. This has resulted in poverty and misery among diversities of the population, particularly in the country’s border provinces, depriving them of their inherent right to national resources and causing the spread of destitution, corruption, and despair.
