The nationwide strike of truck drivers, spanning 130 cities, is a powerful example of civil disobedience by noble and hardworking people who can no longer endure the economic chaos, mismanagement, and denial of international work permits in a country as rich as Iran.
This large-scale action reflects the growing frustration of citizens deprived of a fair share in national wealth, suffering under failing infrastructure, chaotic fuel subsidies, and inadequate insurance systems.
Instead of addressing these urgent issues, the regime once again responds with repression, silencing rightful protest with force.
What we need is a Renaissance Revolution, not a return to decayed systems of governance whose time has long expired.
